One hundred and fifty one Year 11 students and colleagues at Jerudong International School (JIS) have once again celebrated successful results in the International GCSE (IGCSE) examinations. In spite of the tremendous challenges faced by the students due to lockdown in the first academic term of Year 11 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the students were able to sit for their examinations in June 2022. The students of Jerudong International School saw their perseverance and remarkable efforts over the past two academic years, rewarded, despite very challenging times.
53.5% of all grades awarded were either an A* or an A (Level 9, 8 or 7). 95% of the students received Grades A*-C (Levels 9-4) overall. There were also some extremely strong subject performances across the school. Over 70% of the grades achieved in Additional Maths and Triple Science were A* / A Grades.
The Languages were similarly impressive with over 90% grades awarded at A* / A Grades (Level 9-7) for Foreign Language Malay and First Language Chinese.
Bruneian student, Chloe Shim achieved an outstanding 11 A* or A (Level 9, 8 or 7) in all her subjects which will provide her with an excellent foundation as she studies for the IB Diploma over the next two academic years in preparation for university.
Six students achieved 10 A*/A (Level 9-7). Zoe Chan, Raika Chowdhury, Eoin Kyle, Adithya Renjit, Aaralyn Tan and Natalie Yip. Whilst a further fifteen students achieved an impressive 9 A*/A (Level 9-7) in their IGCSEs - Elisa Iskandar, Kiara Jones, Nadya Khairul, Gisele Koh, Nidhi Kulkarni, ChanChan Kyaw, Grace Lee, Yong Tsen Lim, Callum Lindsay, Marvin Santos, Shrruti Sasitharan, Ali Sheikh, Tammy Teo, Oscar Virgoe, Synyee Yeo.
Thirteen students achieved 8 A* Grades (Level 9-7) and a further ten students achieved 7A* Grades (Level 9-7).

Students study a British International Curriculum from ages 2 years to 3 years. From 14 years to 16 years, students study the I/GCSE programmes.
