Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is as big as Singapore. It is a popular tourist destination due to its idyllic beaches, tropical climate and nightlife. The island is home to over 600,000 residents. Approximately 100,000 expatriates live in Phuket.

1. BCIS Phuket
The school was established in 2017 and is open to students from Preschool up to Year 9 levels. BCIS Phuket offers the French National Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum. In 2021, the school will implement the Thai syllabus into their curriculum.
2. British International School Phuket
Established in 1996, British International School Phuket is a co-educational day and boarding school. The school currently has over 900 students from the ages of two to 18 years old. The British Curriculum is offered leading up to the IGCSE examinations. Students can sit for the IB Diploma Programme at pre-university level. Boarding is provided to Year 4 to Year 13 students.
Buds International School opened in the 1990s and is considered the oldest bilingual nursery and kindergarten in Phuket. The school offers Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary School levels. The curriculum provided at Buds International School is a combination of the University of Minnesota Kindergarten Curriculum, Montessori and Head Start programmes.
4. HeadStart International School
The British Curriculum and Cambridge International Curriculum is offered at HeadStart International School to students aged two to 18 years old. Established in 2005, the school has more than 800 students. Secondary school students sit for the IGCSE examinations whereas A Levels and BTEC qualifications are offered at pre-university level. Students at HeadStart International School have the opportunity to learn French, Mandarin, Russian and Thai.
5. Kajonkiet International School Phuket
Kajonkiet International School Phuket is a co-educational day school for students aged two to 18 years old. The British Curriculum is offered leading to the IGCSE and A Level examinations. It is compulsory for Thai nationals at the school to study Thai at IGCSE level. The school also has a special educational needs department that offers in-class support and one-on-one sessions.
6. Montessori House Phuket International School
The school accepts students aged three to 12 years old and offers a curriculum based on the Montessori method. Although English is the medium of instruction, Thai is taught as a second language. Mandarin is also offered at the school. Additional English language support classes is provided to elementary school students.
Palm House School offers the International Primary Curriculum to students aged five to 11 years old. Thai culture and language studies is integrated into the curriculum. Additional English language support is provided if needed.
8. QSI International School of Phuket
Established in 2000, QSI International School of Phuket offers the American Curriculum. The school is open to students who wish to enter elementary and secondary school levels. AP courses and intensive English instruction is also offered at QSI International School of Phuket.
9. UWC Thailand: United World College | International School
UWC Thailand joined the United World College group in 2016. It is recognised as an IB World School and is authorised to offer all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes (PYP, MYP and IBDP). UWC Thailand also offers a Nursery programme and has its own Early Childhood Education Centre. Boarding facilities are offered to students aged 13 years old and above.
