Thailand is home to over 100 international institutions which comprise international schools and international preschools to accommodate the educational needs of expatriate children. Here are the international schools in Thailand that will open their doors in 2020: 

 

Grace International School

1. Grace International School 

The school was originally established in 1999. In conjunction with the school’s 20th anniversary, Grace International School will open a new campus in February 2020. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels are accepted at Grace International School. The school currently has over 600 students and offers the American Curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Grace International School is located in Chiang Mai. 

2. King’s College International School Bangkok

Opening in September 2020, King’s College International School Bangkok is the third international school to open under King's College School, Wimbledon. The school will be located in the Ratchada-Rama 3 area of Bangkok. King’s College International School Bangkok offers the British Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE and A Level examinations. The school will have a capacity for 1,500 students from two to 18 years old. 

 

3. North London Collegiate School (NLCS)

NCLS Thailand is the newest international addition of NCLS in the United Kingdom. The school will join the family of NLCS schools located in London, Jeju, Dubai, and Singapore. NCLS Thailand will open its doors in Bangkok in 2020 and is the first all-girls international school to open in Thailand. The school accepts students aged five to 18 years old and offers the British Curriculum. The IGCSE, A Level and IB Diploma Programme are also offered. 

4. Ruamrudee International School

Ruamrudee International School first opened in 1957 in Minburi, Bangkok and accepts students from preschool to pre-university levels. The Ratchapruek campus opened in August 2019 and offers preschool and primary school levels. Ruamrudee will open a new Early Years’ campus in August 2020. Located in Bangkok, the campus will offer a modified version of the American Curriculum to two to six year olds. 

 

5. VERSO International School 

VERSO International School will open in August 2020 in Bangkok and will be ready to cater to 1,800 students. The school’s curriculum is aligned with New York State’s Education Standards from Early Childhood through Grade 12. The school is divided into three loops – Early Childhood to Grade 4, Grades 5 to 8 and Grades 9 to 12. VERSO International School is 30 acres big and offers world-class sporting facilities that include a climate-controlled indoor Olympic standard aquatics centre, a monolithic gymnasium, an athletics stadium with full-sized soccer pitch, all-weather practice pitch, a lake, tennis and basketball courts.
